CINICO PATIENTS
CINICO patients who wish to see Dr. Lawrence or Dr. Beraha must pay in full immediately after their consultations.
CINICO patients who wish to see the podiatrist must be referred to Helix Healthcare by their HSA GP or Specialist in the first instance. Following receipt of an authorised referral form from the HSA, we will contact you immediately to make an appointment. Do not make an appointment before you have seen your HSA doctor or specialist for a referral, as Mr. Anthony will be unable to see you.
PARKING
There is one handicapped parking space immediately outside the entrance.
There are three parking spaces at the front of the building and two parking spaces to the rear. We also have permission for you to park in the parking lot of the Church of God, immediately opposite HELIX HEALTHCARE.
APPOINTMENTS
"Walk-in" appointments for Dr. Lawrence and Dr. Beraha may be available. However, to avoid waiting to see a doctor
it is always best to book an appointment
in advance.
We do not over-book -- the time allocated is solely for you, therefore if you cannot keep your appointment please give at least 24-hours notice to avoid a charge for a failed appointment.
FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES. GO IMMEDIATELY TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT GEORGE TOWN HOSPITAL
OR CALL 911
FAILED APPOINTMENTS
If a missed, cancelled, or changed appointment (with less than 24- business day hours notice in advance) remains unfilled, a full consultation fee will be charged; except when - at the discretion of HELIX HEALTHCARE - there exists dangerous travelling conditions, or a serious illness or emergency. E.g., if you have a Monday appointment at 4:00 p.m. you must cancel no later than 4:00 p.m. the previous Friday to avoid a charge.
LATE ARRIVALS
To allow time to check in at reception, please arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled consultation time.
To ensure the following patient is not inconvenienced, if you arrive late, you may be asked to reschedule to a later time that day; or to another day if the clinic is full, which will be considered a failed appointment.
FEES
Although we will seek reimbursement for your consultation & treatment fees from your health insurance provider, it remains your responsibility to ensure that any sums not reimbursed to us are paid without delay.
Depending on your insurance coverage, immediately after your consultation or treatment you may be asked to pay:
1. In full if you have not met your deductible.
2. A co-payment fee. Please note that the sum taken at this time may not be the total sum payable. Unforeseeable in advance, your medical insurance provider may not cover certain aspects of your care. If this is the case, our receptionist will contact you for payment.
Apart from consultation and treatment fees, a charge will be made for the following services paid for by your insurance company:
1. The drugs, dressings, and clinical consumables used during your visit.
2. Extended or complex telephone
calls to you, other medical practitioners, and your insurance company.
3. Letters, reports, and medical authorisations.
4. Copying and mailing of clinical records and reports. A release of information form must be completed and signed.
The cost of bandages, splints, insoles, and other surgical appliances are not covered by your health insurance and must be paid for by cash, debit card, or credit card.
HELIX HEALTHCARE accepts Cayman debit cards, MasterCard, and VISA.
